Travel Bloggy People I Enjoy
Kate is traveling the world. Again. Watch out.
Ayngelina has maybe the best name for a travel blog EVER. Hello? Why didn’t I think of that?
Jaime is backpacking around the world and causing major scandal along the way. He also has a major Kelly Clarkson addiction. I can respect that.
Candice puts the word “sassy” back in Canadian. (What? That’s not how you spell Canadian?).
Dan is the man. His travel photography is gorgeous. And he’s a pretty cool dude, to boot.
Barbara has recently dropped out of the rat race in Singapore and moved with her family to Chiang Mai. This is just the first stop on their world adventure. Follow along, will you?
Geraldine describes her blog as “a big, long, cuss-filled love letter” to her husband. I think we can all agree those are the best kind of love letters. Am I right or am I right?
I think Torre may be almost as scared of everything as I am. Almost.
Mike tends to make a fool of himself a lot. And is hilarious. And cranky. In other words, your typical dream man.
Michael is a former lawyer now traveling the world overland and writing a book about it. He’s also a world-class pesterer. Seriously, if you need someone to kick you in the butt, Michael is your man.
The Got Passport family is committed to changing the world. No biggie, right? I met them in Chiang Mai, and I have to say they’re every bit as awesome in real life as they are in bloggy life.
Johnny’s real name is Wes. The whole fake name thing is just the beginning of his lies, apparently.
Jodi used to be a lawyer. Now she travels around the world and eats stuff. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
Andi is the most glamorous travel blogger on the Interwebs. It’s like the girl never has a bad hair day. I’d be jealous if she wasn’t so dang nice.
Usually I oppose the use of the word “quirky” as it’s usually being used to describe me. (As in, “I don’t understand why you don’t have a boyfriend, Sally. You’re so… ummm… quirky.”) But, Pam, truly is quirky (meant in a good way…. not in a total wack job way). And she’s a total pro.
Simon & Erin make the whole travel-around-the-world-thing look easy. And their blog is so very pretty and sparkly.
Jeannie writes lovely, honest, poetic pieces about her life left behind and her new life on the road. And she’s nice.
Bessie & Kyle have been on the road for over two years and they haven’t killed each other. I don’t even understand how that works.
Phil knows the secret to life. It’s camels.
Lorna is one cool lady. And she’s the owner of the most adorable little motor home ever.
Pam is currently in Asia and is on a quest to find the best butter chicken on the continent. I just wish I could join her.
Heather just returned from a year-long working holiday in Australia. Oh, and she likes macarons. (But she hasn’t sent me any yet. What’s the deal, Heather?)
Theodora is slow traveling through Asia with her (now ten-year-old) son and writes lovely long blog posts.
Stephanie is heading to Latin America with her boyfriend! I think we can all agree that it was very rude of her not to invite me along. Sheez.
Expat Bloggy People I Enjoy
Megan used to write about living in Bangkok and eating potato chips. She recently returned to the States, so I look forward to reading her posts about living in the States… and eating potato chips.
Christine used to live in France, and now she lives in Australia. Let me tell you, this girl has got a good head on her shoulders — not only are her posts thoughtful and well-written, but she also makes a habit of living in countries with good wine and cheese. Obviously, I could learn a lesson from this lady.
Connie has been traveling, volunteering and working abroad for the past couple years. She currently lives in Hong Kong, which is like one of my favorite places ever, so I hope she’s accepting houseguests.
Kate lives in Italy and loves cats. It’s like we’re living parallel lives with that whole cat thing.
Liv also lives in Italy and loves cats. We should probably form a club.
Jamie is an expat living in Paris. But she’s not all gushy and annoying about it.
Fiona lives in Shanghai with her family and blogs about the food, people and stories that fill her day. She also takes some of the purtiest photos around.
Melanie has a tendency to forget to wear pants in public. Don’t you hate when that happens?
Kelly writes fun stories about living, working and settling down in China. I particularly love all her posts about the trials of getting married in China. Who knew getting hitched in a foreign country would be so hard? (Okay, so maybe I had a clue.)
A Totally Impractical Guide to Living in Shanghai
MaryAnne lives in Shanghai (hence the blog name) and she’s my twin. I’m not really sure how that works because I was born a triplet. But the fact is that we are pretty much the same person. Only different. And she’s obsessed with mops (which I’m not… but give me time).
This is MaryAnne’s other blog. It is totally practical. But not in an annoying way at all.

Allison lives in a pink fibro (yeah, I had to Google search that, too) in Australia, where she raises kids and writes stuff — awesome, thoughtful stuff.
The Bloggess is the queen of smart ass, snarky, mom bloggers. She almost makes marriage and parenting look like fun… or at least like a really good excuse to drink.
I love everything Lisa writes. That is all.

If you don’t see your blog here, it’s not that I don’t love you. (I DO, I really do!). It’s probably because I got distracted by cookies or chocolate or sparkly things while I was writing this list & forgot to include you. (Not that you are forgettable! Heck no!) Or maybe it’s because I haven’t had the pleasure of discovering your blog. (I blame the cookies — always distracting me from discovering new things.)
